nice condition, but iirc those graphics, if they are the ones that came on the bike, look a few years newer than 95

I got this exact same bike for my 11th birthday. I don’t believe this is the “Team” model though as that would have had the 3-piece Power Series cranks made by Profile but stamped “GT.” It also would have had the “Overdrive” chainring. As others have mentioned, tires and pedals are also not correct.

For value, just the frame and fork alone routinely sell for $1,200 plus with mild chrome peppering. Complete, I’d assume you could find someone willing to pay over $2k. It all depends on finding the right buyer. There are collectors out there with deep pockets willing to spend.

  3. Really nice. It looks to be all original besides the tires and pedals, hard to tell the condition of the chrome but seems really good. If the decals are original and the chrome is as good as it looks in the pics I would be confident listing it for 2500-3000. BMX museum would be the site to go to for more info and people who are familiar with it.

I think that’s a 96. It’s in good shape, but the mid 90s GTs are not worth $3-5000 dollars, no matter what anyone in this thread is telling you. Those prices are reserved for the precious 85-90 Performers/PFTs.

Also, this isn’t a team model, just a regular PFT. Dead giveaway is that it doesn’t have 3pc cranks.

The GT CD sprocket, pedals and tires aren’t original to the bike, but the rest looks pretty survivor’ish.

I’d say it’s worth about $1500 the way it sits. It’s a nice bike for sure, just not as mythical as the earlier stuff from the heyday.
