We Finally Reach Île de Ré!🚴 | L’Océan & Spa Campsite & Saint‑Martin‑de‑Ré

Welcome back to The Sweet Life on Tour! 🚐

After leaving Saumur, we finally arrive at one of the destinations we’ve been most looking forward to on our Early Summer France adventure – the beautiful Île de Ré.

For the next 6 nights we’re staying at L’Océan & Spa Campsite, a popular campsite on the island with excellent facilities and a fantastic location for exploring by bike.

In this vlog, we give you a first look around the campsite, including the pitches, swimming pool, and laundrette facilities. Then it’s time to get the bikes out and start exploring!

Our first ride takes us to the stunning harbour town of Saint‑Martin‑de‑Ré, one of the most picturesque locations on the island. We wander through the historic streets, enjoy a lovely lunch, and of course treat ourselves to a well-deserved ice cream while soaking up the atmosphere.

With beautiful weather, fantastic cycling routes and a campsite packed with facilities, this proves to be the perfect start to our stay on Île de Ré.
