  1. Great bike travel content. Love the glimpse into Spain, the country that transformed the world centuries ago. And Russ’s Spanish and Catalan are sure enough to leave the interviews in the native language. Be careful with what you wish for if the roadies come to fully embrace rural gravel.

  2. Great post, some countries real do know how to encourage bike use don't they? Love the variety of riding and lack of traffic. Great accent too Russ, very impressed by your language skills.

  3. Glad to see that you have settled into life in Catalunya. I think you have picked one of the nicest regions in Europe, which, of course, includes the Catalan region just over the border in France. My wife and I did more cycling in Catalunya than any other region. More out of necessity, with no car and having to get all our shopping on the bikes – even riding 25km to Perpignan and back a couple of times for specific items at Decathlon! We just love Barcelona, Girona and Perpignan.

  4. Hi Laura and Russ,
thanks for the good vibes, it’s always a pleasure to follow your stories; I think I'll be back in Spain next year…😊🚲
    Greetings from Vienna

  5. Hi guys. Italian here. From 2000 to 2005 I spent every July vacation with my kids and friends in Comaruga, just 30 km from Vilafranca, I know the area pretty well. Thanks for sharing the video, it brought back so many found memories of the places, the people and the rides.

  6. Funny coincidence, yesterday I had to completely unpack a case of 6 single malt bottles to get them to fit on and in my Vespa. Talk about 1st world problems…

  7. Hey
Since Picos De Europa was mentioned in the video, that is definitely an area you should visit. Super green and beautiful mountains
