I am building a new bike around a Wabi Classic after riding a Big Block for over a decade. The Classic has a distinctly road bike feel due to its laid back geometry and Reynolds tubing. Makes it good for rail trails and long rides, but it feels sluggish when maneuvering during commutes.
What does everyone else think of them?
Edit: “Sluggish” isn’t the best description, the bike is a feather weight compared to most steel frames and acceleration is fantastic. It doesn’t corner or handle as aggressively as other track frames I’ve owned/ridden and its light construction just gives it a different vibe.

I have one and love it !!
Handsome looking bike. If this one is all the way on the comfy cruiser end of the spectrum, build a second bike on a stiff racing frame with deep dish wheels for when you want to go fast
I like mine. I go on 50+ mile rides on gravel trails, and it is very comfortable
i think the wabis are cool, very similar to the soma rush. i went with the soma just cause they’re local to me, but otherwise would’ve gone wabi. steel is real!
It’s a great bike, I have 10k miles on mine and have done rides up to 120 miles. I don’t agree with you at all that it feels sluggish. Quick and snappy acceleration and handling feels precise and stable.
Sluggish cause of that big gear ratio you got going
Have had my wabi classic since 2014, still as nice as it was on day 1.
Just know them because of Youtube guy
You must be a giant, what size is that?

I have a Wabi Special and love it. Yes, definitely road bike feels rather than track bike.
Love mine
