How is this a team time trial? Why not just have a race between the number 1's of each team? A better team race would be to test a number of riders. Why not add the times of the top six finishers. That would show the real strength of the teams.
It is just day one. What visma do next? Defend the yellow Jersey for 20 days? I don't think so. He will probably let it go tomorrow. Pogacar is still the favorite and he will probably grab bonus points here and there before the big mountain stage.

At the beginning of last year, I said on social media that Jonas could win this year's Tour. I personally prefer Tadej, but over the past year I've felt like he's been losing some of the joy that made him so special, and his focus seems to have shifted in a different direction. He's already achieved so much that staying motivated at the very highest level can't be easy.
May the best rider win.

Ok, Phil Liggett used to drive me crazy with time trials, with making the rider look like he will beat the time, when in fact the spot is some 10 – 15 secs from the finish. This announcer did the same thing…you know where they need to be to gain first, but not this guy.

A stage where tweaking aerodynamics can make a difference!!
They should remove Time Trials like that, cause finally one rider is on the podium.
