This looks absolutely epic. I mean, that country has many many problems obviously but it is also absolutely beautiful.
Did you have a guide at all times, or could you ride through sort of freely?
True_Inside_9539 on
Hell yeah. Bikes and AK’s go hard af. Have fun out there.

Some of sickest pics I’ve ever seen. That squad photo in front of the blue mosque is STUNNING. Safe travels to you and the bros!

Without intentional offense, is there a reason why guns are posed with in so many of these photos? Like was it something you guys asked for? Just curious.
The place looks beautiful, y’all are epic for making such a trip.

Outstanding photos! Definitely the first time I’ve seen people posing with AKs or any sort of firearm along with their bike, LOL! Look forward to seeing more from this trip.

Daaamn, I wish I had the balls for that. I’ve been dreaming about doing Belgium->China but as a pretty introvert and socially awkward guy it scares the shit out of me… I’m riding across Europe now for 5 months but people generally just leave you be, can’t image whole villages gathering to come see you haha
What were the worst experiences in general? I guess people are very curious but was there also stuff like intimidation and did you feel unsafe or scared at times? Got examples?
BIG respect for you guys!!

Looks like an incredible journey, the mountains and landscapes are beautiful. This is totally inspiring! I’m from Canada and have many Afghan friends, they are some of the kindest people I’ve met. When did you begin from Portugal? Did you already make it to Singapore? Is it 3 of you cycling the whole way together?

What language did you communicate with? In those 30 days, did you have one of those , oh shit moments? If so what was it? Did you ever feel like you were at risk of bodily harm?

Love your pics.
In nr6, did that Taliban guy with an AK ask to take a picture with you, or was it the other way around?
Just curious.
Oh, and I wish for continuous safe travels.

Btw, can someone educate me on this, I thought they Taliban didn’t allow girls to go to school, but I see what looks like schoolgirls in one pic?
