I just noticed a little rubber O-ring on the damper of my Rhythm 32 Float suspension. Where did it come from and how do I get it back from whence it came? Cat is also confused.
Supposed to be there for setting sag and seeing how much of the travel you have used

It’s a travel indicator on your stanchion tube. Push it down against the dustwiper seal, ride your bike, then see how far up the o ring has been pushed. This tells you how much travel you used on your fork.

You’ve never noticed that all decent forks have this?

That is the Funometer. It measures the level of enjoyment the previous trail section gave. Some people use it to set sag too.

Sag ring, came from the factory. Learn how to use it, it will help you with understanding how suspension works

Sir, this is a cat!

Your cat looks ready to write up a full service quote for you. Also yeah, push that o ring down to the seal before every ride so you can actually see how much travel you used.

That’s your fun meter. Pam it all the way down before your ride, at the end of the ride you see how much fun you had. 🤷

Commonly known as the “I think I need a bike with more travel…ah I see’ ring
