Great video.
First😊
Boa viagem de trem ai ótimo vídeo
Just took this train on Monday. After two un-airconditioned trains from Hungary into Serbia it was a very welcome surprise. So comfortable and clean.
It is comforting to see the improvements that are made in these countries.
Another great Euro Trip!
🚅 bellissimo video 😊😊😊😊
Spectacular video thanks. Sorry for disturbing saying the same, I am very impatient.
3:22 love Stadler, one of my favourite brands. Renfe is going to put brand new Stadler S453 Cercanías trains, I love these, much better than Talgo's new builds. I want to drive these new trains in the future. I'm now 17, studying 1st Bachelor
Love your work! Greetings from Calera y Chozas TOLEDO SPAIN ❤😊
Great video as always, of course!
I do hope the COKOs between Budapest and Belgrade end up running a fairly frequent service (hourly or so) as it would be quite sad (maybe even an infrastructure waste) if it was just a few daily round trips.
Please try 12283, 12431 in Indian Railways.
Знаете ли дали вече има директна връзка за Будапеща, или още е с прекачване в Subotica i Szeged?
Cool video, from may 2026 new CRRC tiger high speed trains for 200 km/h much better than Stadler kiss train with more luxurios 1 class 42 seats, is in use on destination Belgrade -Subotica, soon to Budapest, vanding a d coffee machines are in use know🎉
His voice does look different in this video…
The interior might be familiar from Westbahn KISS-es.
i love how the front of the serbian KISS resembles the front of the hungarian FLIRT and the serbian FLIRT's front looks like the hungarian KISS
Another fascinating video. It is nice to see Serbia making improvements, although they seem to be taking a long time Thanks.
But cant they just run these trains all the way trough to Budapesth? i tought that the 160 km/h variant of ects was already approved, and these trains have both ects and pzb on board (to run the jouney you just took).
Tamara Petrovic Express.
Hope that whole eastern europe including turkyie and caucasus will get better connectivity, along with serbia
so nice to see how much serbia invests in its railway and getting the only high speed line in the entire balkans! once the full line is open it'll become so convenient for serbians and Hungarians to visit each other and for us to travel between the 2 countries
Great video, hats off! However, as a Serbian train enthusiast, I’d like to point out a few things:
This is only a small section of the railway that has been renovated, and it’s located in Vojvodina, which is flat terrain. The next major task is modernizing the line from Belgrade to Niš (our third-largest city). We have only just received funding from the European Union for that project, whereas this current line—and the new main Belgrade railway station—were built by the Chinese, which is why it resembles Chinese railway stations. Hopefully, in a few years, the trip from Niš to Subotica should take between 3 and 4 hours.
A major issue is the corruption involved in the renovation of certain railway sections, especially the stations. On November 1, 2024, a concrete canopy collapsed, killing 16 people. To this day, no one has been convicted, even though it was proven that the renovation added significant weight to the original, aging pillars.
You absolutely have to try the Belgrade-Bar train. Even though the trains are old and the speed is quite low, the journey is a real adventure—it’s the most affordable way to travel to the Montenegrin coast, where most Serbs spend their summer holidays. Some carriages even turn into impromptu parties, and you even have the chance to book a compartment in one of the carriages that was part of the 'Blue Train' used by the Yugoslav President, Josip Broz Tito. I’m actually heading to the seaside on that train this Thursday for the first time in over a decade, and I’m incredibly excited about it.
Best regards and all the best with your future travels!
Might join you for the Budapest trip when it opens
It's so wild with the mix of Cyrillic and Latin letters. I don't see any logic at all.
At 7'44" it says "Sledeća stanica", "next station", in Cyrillic, but the name of the station, Petrovaradin, in Latin.
Most non-governmental business names are in Latin but the railway company's name is in Cyrillic. And many others.
Do Serbs even notice themselves when the script changes, being so used to both?
Is it a bullet train or is it just fast because it has very few coaches?
The Belgrade Railway (BG Voz) now runs obsolete, graffiti-covered Soviet trains. They will be replaced by 30 brand new Spanish CAF trains from 2027 onwards. Maybe you should come and check out those trains when they become operational. Another suggestion is to visit Tito's train (museum) and ride the narrow-gauge Shargan Eight tourist train from the 1920s, now used in the summer months. Greetings from Serbia. Thank you for the nice report.
Why not ride on the new Chinese SOKO train rofl ?
NOOO, please don’t use AI! It really lowers my respect to someone when he/she uses AI to do this stuff.
2:38 That's NOT how the map of Serbia looks like !!!
Kosovo and Metohija, it's southern province, is NOT and will NOT ever be a country.
UN1244 is still active and the only reason why the current state of things is allowed.
Again, Kosovo is NOT a country but south of Serbia.
You insulted every single Serb on the planet by showing this map in a highest possible way.
Even worse, you used Google maps, which by DEFAULT shows Kosovo and Metohija as part of Serbia.. and changed it to these UK worldview lines.
Disgusting.
2:40 Not how Serbia looks buddy.. -.-
Kosovo is a part of it and not a "country" !
Why was old station abandoned?
Kosovo is Kosovo and Metohia! Serbia's🇷🇸 South Province! Remember! Change your Map!
Hallo dummy, KiM (Kosovo i Metohija) je deo Srbije. Poštuj zemlju koja te je ugostila i nauči nešto pre nego što dođeš.

I took this route back around 2009 in other direction and service was a loco hauled serviced from Budapest that ran at a snails pace, 10mph. Amazing how much has changed,
A few weeks ago they launched new Chinese-built Soko trains on the line (that were initially meant to run to Budapest).
It’s always good to see train service improve in any country. Congratulations to Serbia and the happy passengers who will enjoy this service!
That train station looks a bit like China with those ventilation ducts.
Great trip. Finally you try this train, but unfortunately you can't disembark at Novi Sad station because the station is damaged at the main building.
