The Government is facing mounting pressure to change the law so a Rochdale grooming gang ringleader can be deported.
Shabir Ahmed, 73, who has been stripped of his British citizenship leaving him with only Pakistani nationality, cannot be deported due to a 1971 law that forbids the removal of a small group of Commonwealth citizens who arrived in the UK more than 50 years ago.
Alex Phillips is joined by Roy Ramm, a former Commander of Specialist Operations at New Scotland Yard, to discuss this.

Here in Florida our Government and Governor passed a Bill for the Death Penalty or a Life sentence Without Parole for these Monsters. Oh Note Florida Leads the Nation when it comes to actually caring out the Executions. Nineteen last year 2025. And so far Nine to date in 2026 and more on the way.
P.S. Oh, I'm basically am ambivalent on Capital Punishment. In that I could not serve ( I would recuse myself) on a Jury in which The Death sentence was on the Table. Life without parole yes I would serve though.
