Some days, the mountain asks you to slow down before you even realize it’s happening.
It starts with a cyclist rolling down the hairpin on a rear wheel only β front wheel held high, perfectly balanced, for the entire descent. No rush, no wobble, just a slow, controlled wheelie down the mountain that makes it look far easier than it actually is.
Then an Aston Martin eases through, its passenger leaning out for a shot .Style, patience, and a car that photographs itself.
And to close it out β a Harley-Davidson so black it seems to absorb the sunlight rather than reflect it. Deep, matte, and completely unbothered by the weekend traffic building up behind it.
The weekend is coming. Maybe it’s time we all slowed down a little.
Enjoy The Slowdown.

I squeezed out my brain for this music. Now I know! The piano part of Beatles In my Life originally played by George Martin in a guitar version.
ποΈRiding school, lesson 0.
Show proof that you can ride a bicycle and demonstrate that you have a minimalistic sense of balance i.e. something with two wheels.
Bonus point if you can pop a wheelie π.
No ποΈ lesson 1 before Lesson 0 prerequisites are met.
Everybody and their dog will be much safer on public roads.
Numberplates on the black Harley come from north-east Poland. That's 1500 kms one way sitting in that position. RIP to this poor guy's back π¬
