Sure that it will in the end really fit there? Usually Kickstands are attached to a specific plate or mounted between the chain stays and the part you want to thrill through.
If I was you I would think about an alternative Option.

Bad. I wouldn’t speak to you for a week. This is my latest curb find. Aluminum frame. The previous owner was careful to not overtighten the aftermarket kickstand (greenfield). But it rotated. So it needed to be tighter. So I cut these plastic clamping thingies off an old lawn chair. And replaced the upper jaw (aluminum) with a thin washer. Now the kickstand is clamped onto the plastic which distributes the stress over a larger area of aluminum. More grip. Less crushing force. I would not have put a kickstand here, but the previous owner already did. So I made it work better.
The bolt for the kickstand goes in the gap ahead of that tube. The kickstand should mount with a clamping plate on top of the chainstays.

Drill a hole there for a fender……sure. but for a kick stand……hell no.

My 2025 Giant touring bike has a dedicated mounting hole for a kickstand. It’s designed specifically for that purpose, built right into the middle of a thick, wide, solid aluminum plate. For yours, I would not drill a hole through that bar.

So the trick here is go in front of the bridge and file a small channel in the front face of the mounting area to allow the front derailleurs cable clearance to move.

Damn, I’ll be downvoted to infinity but exactly how much stress do folks think a chainstay bridge takes? You know how you know it’s not much? Cause there are thousands of bikes out there with holes in their chainstay bridges so big that they don’t even have chainstay bridges. Do it. You’ll be fine. If you drill a hole in it and the frame suddenly explodes, DM me, I’ll send you off another frame.

Why would you even want to? Kickstands don’t mount like that in a frame not designed for it and fenders make clips.

Everyone is saying bad. I think the only issue you’ll have is kickstand bolts are pretty big and that tube is pretty small. Given the horizontal hole as well there just might not be much material left to support the kickstand.

The frame itself would most likely be fine.
The issue would be the kickstand might stress that hole a bit and eventually fail. The constant back/forth of the kickstand, I’ve seen the middle frame support break off.

i think if you drilled it, you should make it round and with a sharp drill bit to avoid non-round sections that would crack.
