Take a break from the heat by spending a slow minute with me on my morning commute today through the woods

If anyone is wondering what the metal art on the bridge is, it’s a bird blind that an artist made out of a water tank that used to be on the property this trail is on. The property had been a dairy farm until the late seventies when it was purchased by my city’s parks department and turned into a nature reserve. The trail was built last year. The variety of birds that go through this wetland every year is astonishing.
