It looks good and impressive. Hopefully the eco system they have in place works well and does it's job. And the extra bike stands will encourage people to ride and walk to the train stations more rather than using there cars etc.
The design is amazing for the summer.. but what about an extreme winter? uncommon for them to ever push that far south but, even in regular winters; wouldnt this place get quite soaked and cold? (especially during windy days)
Looks good BUT – no lift. So it’s giving the middle finger to wheelchair users. I also notice that it isn’t level entry from platform to train. Why is that?
Another North/West/East/South New national rail station which came about in recent years was Brent Cross WEST – Thameslink via Kings Cross. Very happy for Cambridge South as I already get impressions of sustainability which resonate with both stations!
