Hello guys, I'm being offered this BMC at a good price. Disclaimer: the BMC Teammachine SLR is my favourite bike so naturally I want to buy it
However I'm having a hard time identifying it. Seller is a good friend of a good friend. He received it as payment so he isn't certain of the year.
The red flags for me is the big BMC logo in the head tube. I'm googling and all logos I find in the headtube are smaller. and the other red flag is the blue lining, I can't find this particular color combination… maybe it was repainted? that would be a turn off…

I’d ask for the serial number and try to ask BMC or a BMC dealer if it’s legit.
The stock product photos tend to be on ~56cm frames. A much smaller frame is going to have a smaller head tube.
That being said there is one thing that seems odd. That is the cable routing. From about ’18 to ’22 the cable routing goes from the handlebars into the down tube. BMC does headset integrated routing around the time 105 switches to 12 speed. Which would make it a post ’22 frame with 11 speed 105 which is odd but not impossible.
