Race Results:

Santini Women’s Otley Grand Prix:

The Santini Women’s Otley Grand Prix took place just days after the National Championships, with national champion Megan Barker among the riders. Early attacks came from Sophie Lewis, April Tacey, and Eilidh Shaw, while Amy Perryman and Amy Henchoz briefly broke clear before being caught.

The decisive move came from Anna Morris, who attacked on Birdcage Walk and later broke away. She was joined by Jessica Roberts, but with 10 laps completed Roberts attacked hard on Barras Lane, dropping Morris and riding solo to victory.

Roberts crossed the line 19 seconds ahead of the peloton. Morris recovered to take second, just ahead of Madeline Cooper. Barker finished fourth, with Monica Greenwood fifth. In the standings, Barker leads the National Circuit Series, while Cooper and Roberts remain close behind.

Martin House Open Otley Grand Prix:

The men’s race was aggressive from the start, with constant attacks on the Otley town-centre circuit. Ollie Cadin launched the first major move, chased down by national champion Matthew Bostock and Cameron Mason. Several breakaways followed, but none gained lasting advantage.

Mid-race, Oliver Wood attacked solo, while later moves involving Aaron King and others also failed to stick. With four laps remaining, Mason attacked with Joe Shillabeer and Harper Johnson, before Joshua Giddings bridged across.

On the final lap, Giddings attacked at the base of Barras Lane. Wood launched a late chase and closed rapidly, but Giddings held on to win. Wood finished second, Shillabeer third, with Johnson fourth and Mason fifth.

After two rounds, Wood leads the National Circuit Series, while Tom Armstrong tops the Rapha Super-League.
