hello guys. i am planning to but myself a bike for bikepacking and sometimes going out during weekend to visit around.
its hard to choose between those 2. they are both same pric, 175€
here some détails:
– trek dual sport 2: not much info but it has been rénovâted and no need to fix anything, everything is brand new. Has been bought last year
– trek séries 8000: Very nice Trek 8000 series mountain bike.
Really lightweight aluminum frame.
Disc brakes, Shimano Deore XT/SLX, RockShox fork.
Everything works very well — the drivetrain (all gears shift smoothly), the brakes, and the fork.
The front tire is brand new.
The bike has always been well maintained by me to keep it in the best possible condition.
The bike shows normal signs of use.
which one should I get according to you? préférence to dual sport 2 but in need of advices

Slight preference for the Dual Sport. It is a lot newer. If the 8000 has 26″ wheels then that will be limiting for tire options. The DS should have 650b wheels, there are some decent tire options for that wheel size.
