I think you could measure the average power draw of the device while running the game, and calculate the value of a resistor to bridge the battery pins, creating a voltage divider between the resister and the whole device carrying a known current to get the desired battery voltage reading, so it would let you run it from the 5V input only
All USB-A ports run at 5 volts, and most USB-C devices accept 5 volts, except large ones like laptops and some larger portable monitors (most small ones work at 5V), the important part as far as being able to charge anything with that voltage goes is the amperage/wattage, not the voltage. If it can't supply enough power, than it won't be able to charge even though it puts out "5 volts", because that voltage will drop as soon as a current load is connected.
Omfg if you're going to use a magnifying glass you are going to need to paint the gas chamber of the light will just pass straight through not heating up anything, come on it's simple grade school physics…

Plot twist, you didn’t reveal that you bought another sterling engine yo allow you to buff the power production.
If you added some caps it might work, but unlikely as those handheld devices require around 10 watts even on low tdp settings.

This engine can give you 3V and 0,5A. Which is 1,5W so you use only LED-Lights or USB-Ventilator for laptops.
