My commuter bike is a 2015 Merida Speeder 500

I am considering to add mud guards from SKS as a quality brand. However, I have no idea what model I should get. There are so many and the website is not really helpful in making a choice.
My requirements:
– Lightweight
– Robust
– Permanently mounted
Perhaps someone here has experience with the brand and can recommend a particular model. Thanks

I can‘t find any more photos of it, but from the one provided in your link, it doesn‘t look like your bike has the necessary mounting points. That basically leaves only the Raceblade Pro and the Veloflexx as an option, as neither needs any mounting points. Both have the downside of not completely enclosing your wheels, so you‘ll get some protection for yourself, but virtually none for the bike itself (this is mostly regarding the rear mudguard, because on a properly mounted system, it should reach all the way down towards your bottom bracket).
