First shift of 2026 and Birmingham decided to absolutely soak me.
After snow, tech failures, and a few missed weeks, it feels so good to be back on the bike. Monday afternoon, heavy rain, busy apps, canal shortcuts, and one ridiculously heavy Sainsbury’s order that nearly finished me off.

It never occurred to me to use the bike rack in the station. I just lock my bike up at the post outside Costa lol. Also when you put the lock through your back wheel, include the tyre. Otherwise someone can just snip your spokes and take the bike.
