Hey everyone,
I noticed that my front thru-axle doesn't sit completely flush with the outside of the carbon fork. As you can see in image, it's slightly recessed inside the hole, and the bare metal/threads are visible.
This is a leasing bike that was handed over to me fully assembled. I've been riding it for about two weeks now, and I just noticed this today.
The axle is tight and everything feels solid, but since it was assembled by a shop/provider, I wanted to double-check with you guys: Is this gap/recess standard for this model, or could it be the wrong axle length?
Model: Canyon CF 5 Endurance
Thanks for the help!

Normal
Completely normal, usually they put a plastic cover on the hole so you don’t see it.
Call Canyon customer service and see if they will send you one. The two canyons I got had them. Probably fell off before you got it.
The previous gen bikes had covers but this one doesnt to allow installation of the fender set. The covers sold on the website don’t fit, they are too big.
