33 y/o. Stay at home dad. V02max of 30 (according to my Garmin watch). Trying to figure out how to make some money to take the burden of bills off my wife since I got laid off.

Trying out some features on the bike my wife bought me a few years back. I might have gone faster on this, but I had been riding for 45 minutes and forgot snacks, so I was kind of tired.

Does it look like I have the skills? Should I try more extreme stuff? Is that how you get the Rebel sponsorship with the helmet that all the gopro athletes have?

Any feedback would be great, thanks.

IS it too late for me to gopro?

  1. Yes it’s still possible, I would try to post more extreme stuff with your wife on a website called „onlyfans“. Not sure if you will get that helmet, depends on how extreme you go.

No, just go buy the camera and go back and video again. No biggie, guy.

I’m older than you and record rides. primarily for me to learn from but also they are fun to watch. I’m not trying to make money from it though. I think that’ll be hard to do, most of the big MTB YouTubers are ex pro racers. I think there could be a market for more regular joe’s if you have some interesting stories to tell along with the footage. I find 1st person footage more exciting, but you can edit in 3rd person footage like this to make it interesting. good luck!

Stay-at-home dad that is financially burdened by unemployment yet is out on the trail while wifey is stressed about their situation. This has to be satire.

  5. Haha bot account introducing beta male behavior into social media, in order to normalize it among males.

Dude unless you are a pro rider there is no segments out there for you. 90 percent of the videos that the weekend warriors post on edit are a waste of my time. Your edits have to have huge air, you have to be engaging and travel to popular riding spots. What you just posted, children are riding.

You are better off getting your wife to put her feet on only fans for perverts. You’ll make way more money than this riding – this being zero.

  7. I’m sure you have endless potential to become a professional. Professional chef, plumber, carpenter, tax-preparer…

Seriously, I spent my entire 20’s racing and pursuing free swag after college. I learned in my 30’s that making more money in my career made a lot more sense mathematically than squeezing sponsors for discounts or a free frame or kit here and there when I could just triple my income and buy all that stuff outright. Even if you were massively talented (your video doesn’t look like you’re especially gifted), All the free crap in the world is not going to make up for your family’s lost income.

if you need to pay for your GoPro and not have one given to you, the answer is yes.

Based off the squawk at the end of the video those sram brake rotors could use a little lube, good brakes help you go faster to take more KOM’s and increase your wife’s bf’s allowance for bike parts

Don’t let your dreams be dreams.

Also just in case this is legit, and you’re not trolling, ask your wife what she wants from you because you seem like you need some guidance. Mtbs are not the place to make money.
