I have these 700/28c Schwalbe Durano Plus on my roadbike. They have done a little over 7500 km with maybe three punctures total between them. This is a close up of front and rear. Are they safe to run for another 500 km in dry weather?
The rubber has clearly dried out which will impact the grip. The casing is probably fine so if you HAVE to ride them another 500km? Sure, they’ll probably hold together fine. If there’s any way you can change them immediately, then do that.

They could do another 500km. But they are dry rotted and done

I’m gonna say no based on the extents of the cracking. The tire is dried out.
Would it probably make it? Yeah. Would I risk it when you’ve gotten your money’s worth out of this set? Nah.

You possibly have a little bit more room but I wouldn’t push it on anything that may possibly puncture your tires smooth Road and concrete

The compound is clearly cooked but the casing underneath is still intact, and that’s the part that actually matters for not getting stranded mid-ride. 500km on dry pavement is reasonable from here. Just watch for threads peeking through or any sidewall bulge, those are the real warning signs that mean stop riding immediately.

7500km with holes, rubber drier than the Sahara. It’s time to give them a rest, holy crap.

its dry rotted so basically you can roll the dice and see what they do. they may last for a while, but really it just depends on your tolerance for having a blowout and walking yourself and a messed up tire to your local bike/tire shop.
