2020 Norco Bigfoot 3 crankset requirements?

I was given this bike that has a damaged bottom bracket and a missing crankset, not sure what the previous owner was thinking when they took it apart with what looks like a pipe wrench and some anger. I researched the specs and component list for the bike, I’m curious to know if the “SRAM Truvativ X1 Eagle, DUB FAT5, 30T” is the only crank set and bottom bracket that will fit this bike? If I’m being honest; I would like to spend a little less on it; it’s just going to ride it around on the riverbank trails where I live.
What’s out there for cheaper alternatives?
