The Mile Failte 1200K, organized by Audax Ireland, is a 750 mile ride around the 4 ancient provinces of Ireland. Along the way I talk about the people, the culture and my changing relationship with this island since I left in my early 20’s. Many thanks to Paul, Bernard and all the volunteers for the incredible support.
(Note at 5:05 I state that the route is counterclockwise it is in fact clockwise…)

Nice surprise Peter well done 👏👏💪💪
I cycled from Derry to Cork (~500 miles down the west coast) over 2 weeks, 442 miles in 2 days is mad work! Great video!

Amazing my brother for taking on this massive ride. You make your ancestors proud of not only who you are but also on who you are becoming. You always remind me of why WE choose to ride. Either it be deep inside of us but also what we accomplish along the way and the beauty that is all around us. I am so honored to share this space we call Earth with you. Ride on my brother RIDE ON.
❤
ah here, I wasn't ready for that opening.
There can be no better way to see the country — if I were truly fit. But there's always being "the high figure in homespun, beard and bicycle, a listening woman at his side," that Leo Bloom spied at Grafton Street & Molesworth. Maybe planning a mild run down to Woodbrook Glen.
