I ride mainly mtbs and was looking for a gravel bike as a go anywhere bike that my partner and I could go on rides both locally and overseas. We previously had the Scott Speedster Gravel and wanted something a little nicer. Recently, Canyon had a sale and they slashed the prices on the Grizl CF8 Di2 here in Singapore to about 4500 SGD (≈3500 USD) each shipped and taxed. So we got an XXS and an S for me. First bike that I ride that's an S.
The bike came with GRX groupset mated to the XT rear derailleur, cassette (9-45) and chain. It also came with a brake only left "brifter”. The wheels are their own GR30 which I ran tubeless.
The reason why I'm sharing the specs is because I realized that Canyon seem to have different specs for different regions. Anyway, there are 3 partner shops here that Canyon work with but I didn't use them. I work on my own bikes mostly and had it directly sent to home via DHL. We ordered on a Thursday and it came on Monday evening. Apparently it was shipped from HK from their new logistic hub for South East Asia and Oceania.
The bikes are really nice. They weigh about 8.2KG and feel quite agile and quick for a so-called more relaxed geometry. It's quite inspiring to ride because the power transfer is pretty good and would love to ride them everywhere as much as we can.
Apologies for the wall of text!
