Sooooo, after my first post, got a few sensible comments of "probably not worth the time or money"…I took these comments on board…..annnnnd completely ignored them.

Not because they weren't right (because they absolutely 💯 were…) but I can't leave a bike in a unrideable state.

So, decided to get it as a running bike again…this is a 7 day update….

Front forks OK

Rear fox float – needs a rebuild, any suggestions on a close match to replace with another new one? As I think the measurements on this one are uncommon.

Frame has been cleaned – polished and the obvious have been removed.

Clarks Clout 1 brake setup has been offered up as a temp install for visuals, original was Shimano XT but just wanted to get the bike running and useable, I'll be selling the XT brake that came with it to raise funds…

Rapid Rob, Tough Tom new tyres fitted.

As I wanted to keep costs down…..I only went and ordered an entire frame bearing kit….lord help me! 🙏

So far about £120 GBP spent on parts.

Maybe in a week I will update on any parts accumulated to potentially finish it.

Please lord make this worth it 🤣

Money pit…Yes absolutely…is the bike worth it….probably not…but am I having the time of my life in this heatwave doing bike stuff….worth every Penny. 💪

  1. Is there enough travel on that fork? Looks like is a 100mm fork, and I am sure the Enduro ran closer to 150mm
