Ironman 70.3 Swansea – Complete 🏁
Today, I crossed the finish line of Ironman 70.3 Swansea. While I didn’t hit my sub-6 hour goal, I’m still incredibly proud. Because this journey has always been about far more than times or targets.
IRONMAN has become my therapy, my outlet, my identity. It’s how I process life, how I express who I truly am. Years ago, I was a suicidal boy, lost in darkness. But this sport – and the community around it – has been the vehicle that brought me back. The man who finished today is living proof of that journey.
My incredible partner, Tara & family have stood beside me every step of the way. And today was extra special – because my daughter Leila, who was just nine months old when I completed my first IRONMAN Wales, handed me my medal. Now aged nine, she’s sharing these milestones with me, and that means everything.
I race because it’s where I feel most alive – where my busy, neurodivergent mind finds peace. In adventure, I find healing. In challenge, I find connection. And through it all, I’ve met the most inspiring souls.
Thank you for being part of this story. I hope to inspire others, just as others have inspired me.
With love and gratitude 🤍
