Hi, I want to buy an Aeroad CF SLX 8 but I’m unsure about the size.

My measurements:
Height: 172 cm
Inseam: 82 cm
Arm span: 178 cm

I’m right between XS and S according to Canyon’s sizing, so I’m wondering which would be the better choice.
I know the advice to buy the smaller one, but I’m unsure because of my arm length. Would it be enough to just use a 100mm stem on the XS or would you recommend size S?

Also, what crank length would you recommend for my measurements?

Thanks!

I have the same measurements as you and went for S after a bike fit. My position on the XS was too aggressive and the saddle couldn’t go high enough by a few mm (would have been beyond the safety limit). During the bike fit, S felt a bit more relaxed while still being in an aero position. I might need a 80mm T-bar (or the compact drops) in the future if I feel too stretched (SRAM hoods are bit longer than Shimano). Picking up the bike on Saturday, so can’t really comment on how it feels on longer rides. Hope this somewhat helps.

I had the same issue with L/XL. I get XL and had to switch to shorter stem. Now feel good on it.

Passt also.

Ich würde dir ja aufgrund deiner Maße XS empfehlen.
