It’s pretty disappointing how they set this TTT up for climbers. As if the Tour de France wasn’t biased to climbers enough as is.

I don't get it The first guys ride counts for his time and the teams. Then each rider gets their own time? It doesn't make any sense Why not just let them race and get their own times?

TTT has long been a favorite of mine. And glad to see that riders get their own time not just one time for everyone.

People that don't like individual time trials don't like them because they get exposed by them. An ITT is the truest measurement of how you can propel yourself on a bike without help. It's telling that the announcer didn't like individual time trials, but he was okay with team time trials. In a team time trial, you still have teammates that take turns in the front. In an ITT, it shows your true individual capabilities. That should be included in a grand tour GC race. TTT really have less business being included in a general classification time because it is a measurement of the team, not the individual in the race for GC.
TTT is awesome! I think it is a great way yo display each team and each rider to kick off this grande tour
