The 2026 Tour de France route is finally here, and it promises one of the toughest editions in years. From the opening team time trial in Barcelona to a dramatic finale featuring back-to-back days on Alpe d’Huez, this route is packed with opportunities for attacks, time gaps, and mountain battles. We break down the overall route, key stages, major climbs, and what it all means for the expected showdown between Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard in July. #TDF Presented by @ROUVY Watch the entire race live in Canada here: https://flosports.link/4g0Hg19

Isn't the team time trial too short to make any real impact on overall gc times?
54,000 meters of climbing!!!!! Really???
can't wait. hope for safe riding and no injuries.
lol we do know
If Jonas and Visma can't put up a meaningful challenge to Pogi by the end of Stage 3, it's over.
Let's hope it cools down by then otherwise I can see a lot of stages getting cancelled or shortened.
Why is no one talking about this, if Jonas Vingegaard wins the tour, he will hold three 3 grand tours at the same time, the Jonas Slam
The HEAT will be the great equalizer this year, especially for the climbers. They'll need to dial things way back and that will give other riders a better chance. Shooting up mountains in Spain when it's 65º Fahrenheit is nothing compared to a TDF mountain stage at 104º
This could be the most amazing tour ever
Brutal! 🥵
Well.. almost everybody (except last calls or injured cycist) are ready for, they have trained for it and that´s what they do everyday.
TDF 2023 with 56,482 m was "harder", every TDF since 2023 has surpassed 52k.
TDF is around the corner and we are eager to watch it also to stop speculations and foretellers comments
I'm the race officials are fully aware of the possibility of history being being made by Tadej, and they seem to have made sure that the GC winner will definitely have earned it. It's great that the iconic ( and scenic) climbs have been included, so that everyone can debate, compare and contrast the feats of champions old and new.
This year's fixture is much more suited for Jonas. Hard & long climb. It'll be a great chance for him to get one back on Tedej.
What you talking about Willis? I’m so ready for the 2026 TDF route!!!!!!
Go Pogacar
It's going to be a snoozefest. Pogačar will win so easily, he'll be smoking a celebratory cigar on the final kilometers of each mountaintop finish. And his top domestique Del Toro will finish 2nd on GC, rubbing salt in the wounds of the competition. It will be so bad that viewers will be looking back on the Skye train days of the previous decade with wistful nostalgia.
My money's on Pogačar.
After the Pyrenees this might be over and you may need to think of secondary topics. Stage 15 and 20 are absolute brutes!
This Route is for kids , which mean, only JV and TP
Will be a banger
Tadej gonna whopppp their asszzz
Jonas wins only if poga is not around, but now poga is here! Jonas is doomed
A lot of dragging and useless parts … hard to follow … please go straight to the point … time is precious.
