Yup, that’s me. You’re probably wondering how I ended up in this situation.

  2. Blur the edges and you’ve got a fantastic 90’s era punk/pop album cover.

I see your strategy for crashing is similar to mine. I basically just ragdoll and flop onto the ground. Some people tense up and brace for impact, those are the folks who end up with broken bones. Not me, I’m a limp fish flying though the air and flopping onto the ground with my arms and legs going all over the place. So instead of the impact going straight to my knee or elbow, it’s my whole body.

I’m not sure why, but that’s how I’ve always fallen and people say it’s hilarious to see, but I always walk away without any serious injuries.

Edit: And of course I’d say something like this in the morning when I’m going out riding this afternoon. Now I’m guaranteed to wreck and break like 20 bones.

  4. That is a great angle, it must have taken a lot of planning to set up that shot!

On a more serious note, glad you are okay.

Frame this and place it somewhere you’ll see it often.

When you’re 76… like me… you’ll look at it and remember what a tough mo-fo you were!
