The countdown to Crimea has begun! Russia’s 30-year military hegemony over the peninsula is being fundamentally shaken by Ukraine’s unprecedented “Strategic Blockade” operation. Between June 19-21, 2026, in joint operations around the Kerch Bridge, Russia’s greatest pride in the region – S-400 radar stations and Pantsir air defense systems – were simultaneously destroyed.

Helicopter night assault.
Once the air defense has been sufficiently neutralized a special ops/ commando incursion by helicopter might work. The Ukrainians have superior night vision tech and these guys are tough as nails … against what ? … conscripts ? Assault major command outposts and transportation hubs like the train depot at Dzanhkoi. Run it like the Seal Team 6 take out of Bin Laden. Hit and run … extract or stay and hold if it seems plausible to do so … ( guaranteed resupply if you command the air or scavenge from what's available, if anything on site).
Reinforce if it seems plausible.
But … Helicopter assault not amphibious assault against heavily mined and bunker fortified beaches. The days of Guadalcanal and Normandy are gone.

I said this on The Military Show's channel. Starve them out, then send in the ground-based army that doesn't need food or refuelling – Killbots.
I think the best way for Ukraine to go is to continue their current strategy: block all supplies (fuel, food, ammunition, etc) from entering Crimea. If they keep the Kerch bridge intact, they are giving the Russians an escape route. This will spare many Ukrainian lives.
The Kersh bridge must be left open to avoid a hunam catasotrophy. As food runs out, people will want to get out. Will PUTIN let them leave? Or are they once more pawns to be token in Putins perverted narrative.
