  1. I was raised and lived in Germany from 72 to 96. I still hate when people show up un announced. Drives me crazy. Coffee isn't made and I don't have cake or pastries ready to serve with it. I can't send the kids to the bakery around the corner to get something like in Germany. Family can come anytime of course.😊

  2. I am not comparing you with any other girl. You are good in your own way and you have a specific purpose… To be a provider and sustainer… But that doesn't mean you would be paid more…

  3. Born in Germany, graduated high school in Germany and stationed in Germany with the US military. I still tipped servers in restaurants and gasthauses.

  4. These „unspoken“ rules can be found 2,568,233 times in the Internet. Most US american tourists simply don‘t care about the rules in their destination country. After all, they are Americans and Americans do it the right way. So the others must adapt.
