The Tour de Suisse Women reached its hardest and final day with the queen stage in Villars-sur-Ollon, a short but brutal mountain circuit of 100.3 kilometres and around 2,795 metres of climbing built entirely around the Col de la Croix. With almost no flat road to recover on, this was the one format that could still overturn the standings, and the day the route had been building towards since Sondrio.
Marlen Reusser (Movistar) had taken yellow with her Aarburg time-trial win and carried a slim ten-second lead over Elisa Longo Borghini into the mountains. On home roads, the Swiss star answered every question. Reusser went solo inside the final kilometre to take the stage win in Villars-sur-Ollon ahead of Cédrine Kerbaol and Kasia Niewiadoma, sealing overall victory in front of her home crowd. It was the perfect finish to a commanding week and another Tour de Suisse Women title for Reusser.

Wenn wunderts, dass das öffentliche Interesse zwischen Frauen und Männer-Rennen nicht gleich gross ist. (Gegenargumente erübrigen sich) Das Unverständnis aus der Sicht der Co Kommentatorin darüber, liegt in der ganzheitlichen Betrachtung. Aber kleiner Tipp: Solange aber genau solches unprofessionelles Co-Kommentatieren den Frauenradsport begleitet sollange wiederspigelt es auch nur "Frauenradfahren". Als Zuschauer benötige ich kein Beschreiben was am Bildschirm zusehen ist, Ausdrücke wie "Mega cool" und ähnliches gehören in einen Kinderhort, ….wenn wunderts also.😂😂
