Found this FX3 on marketplace which is very clean and had 18 speed but not sure if it’s worth 1100 CAD. I searched it up and Gemini said older versions had more gears so just want to make sure I don’t overspend.

I can’t see how that price makes any sense when you can buy a new similar FX 1 Gen 4 for 830 CAD or a FX 2 Gen 4 for 980 CAD. The differences are going to be quite small. If you can swing the extra money for the FX2 it is worth it.
It looks like a 2021 Trek FX 3, MSRP was 900 USD. Around 1300 CAD. With the prices on new bikes I would have a hard time recommending that for more than 650 CAD.
