Now recreate the map with direct trains ( [https://bahn.guru/](https://bahn.guru/) ) and add another layer that would be even more handy for cycling trips.

I’ve always found it difficult to plan a point to point Europe trip. I’ve wanted to fly out to one airport and then fly back home from another. So I’ve made a site to handle the outbound and return flights for me.
You select your home airport(s) and then select two airports you’d like to ride between and it will find EuroVelo routes between them.
The site also displays bike shops and camp sites along your planned route.
If you don’t want to camp, you specify how far you want to cycle each day and it will populate a hotel search every x/km.
Please check it out and let me know if you find any issues.

I was trying to figure out how to make sense of the tool but couldn’t figure it out intuitively. Found the how to section and then every link after that seemed to be broken for me. Would be curious to try out the tool, I’ll give it a go on my laptop. I don’t think I’m interested in the euro velo routes due to the amount of pavement involved. But it’s an interesting concept either way!
