Picked up a Stranger Level complete off Facebook marketplace a bit ago…modern BMX geometry has definitely changed a lot since the late 2000s. I’ve learned to live with the shorter chain stay but could not get used to how tall the bars were.
Immediately went out to search for Animal Scerbo bars and learned it’s made by Skapegoat now. Anyone know what’s happened in between?
Anyways, I think I discovered a new rabbit hole. Managed to find an Animal Cush seat brand new. Now looking for the glorious 2.1 ASM/GLH tires

Those bars used to be the standard but they look so tiny now (I’ll throw in a pic of my first bike and the tiny bars look so out of place nowadays)! How are you liking the big beefy tyres?

Frame is getting a powdercoat done within the next month or so and probably a new coat done one the bars and forks
