My favorite pedals I ever had on my Standard Lengthy. Bulletproof bike but it weighed a lot…

This pedal specifically, or just using metal pinned pedals? I’ve always hated plastic pedals, metal grip way better, like using a sharp knife instead of a dull one. Maybe it hurts a little more, but I always thought you were way less prone to slip. Plastic with metal pins are pretty much doing the same thing.

They still feel good. Mid School builders and riders are spending money too…

  4. These are great pedals is why. I have a pair of oooooold silver ones on an old crmo mx24, and a new pair of red ones on my standard 125 cruiser

  5. Because they’re sick, I started riding back in ’09, so well after the mid-school era, and these things always caught my eye, Primo is the shit!

I still use  pedals like that mine aren’t Primo they’re animal but I don’t like plastic pedals

Best pedals ever! How could they not come back? I’ve still got I’m from ’04.

  8. Better than the Hutch pedals with the sharpened cages. Also better than the Hutch Hi-Caliber pedals that wouldn’t grip shoes but WOULD shred your shins like pulled pork.

  9. I had a Tenderizer axle break on me and I was done with them after that. I also had a Bomb FC fail on me. I was done with Primo parts after that.

  10. It’s easily one of the best pedals of all time, but yeah my shins are also scarred up enough that I wear shin guards now

I’ve never ridden anyrhing else since I got my first set in 2002-ish. They’re so good once you learn to respect them.

“big scary” pins actually keep your foot from sliding around, thus, preventing shinners.

Had these when I was younger in almost that same color [or maybe it was that color?] Oh the memories of shin bites run deep 🤣

  14. the high profile on these always made them seem sketchy, and easy to slip off of.
