Primo still makes these?
My shins are so messed up still from 20+ years ago when I rode these as a hand me down from a friend who moved on to a less aggressive pedal.
It is crazy to me that there are still masochists out there that would ride these things..
We have come so far.
That said I have a set in the mail. Legendary.

So glad they still make OG parts. Same with the cranks.
Because everyone needs shins as scarred as mine!
My favorite pedals I ever had on my Standard Lengthy. Bulletproof bike but it weighed a lot…
RIP Joe Tiseo..!
This pedal specifically, or just using metal pinned pedals? I’ve always hated plastic pedals, metal grip way better, like using a sharp knife instead of a dull one. Maybe it hurts a little more, but I always thought you were way less prone to slip. Plastic with metal pins are pretty much doing the same thing.
They still feel good. Mid School builders and riders are spending money too…
These are great pedals is why. I have a pair of oooooold silver ones on an old crmo mx24, and a new pair of red ones on my standard 125 cruiser
Iconic BMX parts. What else compares really? V Monsters?
Had some red ones with a matching hemorrhoid seat bitd.
Because they’re sick, I started riding back in ’09, so well after the mid-school era, and these things always caught my eye, Primo is the shit!
I still use pedals like that mine aren’t Primo they’re animal but I don’t like plastic pedals
Best pedals ever! How could they not come back? I’ve still got I’m from ’04.
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it
Ahh man, my shins are still tenderized as fuck.
They still make bear traps too…doesn’t mean you have to buy and ride em.
Better than the Hutch pedals with the sharpened cages. Also better than the Hutch Hi-Caliber pedals that wouldn’t grip shoes but WOULD shred your shins like pulled pork.
I had some back in 2003 I believe.
Still have them on my 2000 Kona chute neighborhood cruiser
I had a Tenderizer axle break on me and I was done with them after that. I also had a Bomb FC fail on me. I was done with Primo parts after that.
The Odyssey Triple Trap and twisted were pretty gnarly too
It’s easily one of the best pedals of all time, but yeah my shins are also scarred up enough that I wear shin guards now
I’ve never ridden anyrhing else since I got my first set in 2002-ish. They’re so good once you learn to respect them.
Ain’t broke mate
Anyone else remember when you could get these in full magnesium? Haha
If you think these were bad, let me introduce you to the Brooklyn Machine Works Shinburger. NSFW if you image search the carnage.

“big scary” pins actually keep your foot from sliding around, thus, preventing shinners.
Had these when I was younger in almost that same color [or maybe it was that color?] Oh the memories of shin bites run deep 🤣
I have a pair on my 85 pro performer.
Still got some 25 year old scars on my shins from these bad boys
the high profile on these always made them seem sketchy, and easy to slip off of.
I never really got on with these for some reason.
