Dorset has some very pretty riding, especially in the sunshine, although you need to be ready for the endless climbs. We often go in February & it always seems to have flooding. This is a great route that gives plenty of opportunity for gentle rides suitable for confident cyclists. AND… a massive, massive shout-out to Chris at Atlas Adventures who sorted us out a new tyre at closing time…, mate, you are a star!!
Distance: 55km (adaptable)
Climbing:1070m
Duration:2.5 – 4.5 hours
Surface: all road
Cycle: Road, Gravel, hybrid

Welcome to THE TANDEM CHANNEL (aka T4 – TakesTwoToTandem); we are a couple of pensioners based in the South East of the UK that love to travel and take day-trips on our tandem. The channel is a means of sharing those routes and experiences with others – you don’t need to ride a tandem to do the rides….. but it is much more fun if you do
Our tandems:
