  1. Pedals are just a couple uggas, until they’re tight, no precise torque needed. More important to make sure you grease the threads, or use anti-seize grease, so they’ll come back off.

  2. I doubt it actually matters. 30 Nm is just a typical torque for the pedal thread, so that’s what they give you.

    What you want to do is grease the threads well, take any pedal wrench and make it kinda tight.
