I'm trying to decide between an Endurace CF SLX in size L or XL and would appreciate some input from riders with similar proportions.
My measurements:
- Height: 191 cm (6'3")
- Inseam: 93.3 cm (36.7")
- Saddle height: approx. 82–82.3 cm (BB center to saddle top)
I've ridden a few bikes recently, which makes this a bit more nuanced than simply following a size calculator.
BMC Roadmachine 58
- Felt sporty and responsive.
- Steering felt quick and direct.
- However, it never felt too long or uncomfortable.
Ridley Kanzo Adventure XL (2023)
- This one definitely feels long.
- I've already moved the saddle forward a bit to reduce my effective reach.
- It still feels more stretched out than I'd ideally like.
I also briefly rode a Rose Shave in the past and remember liking it, but it was long enough ago that I don't think my memory of the fit is reliable anymore, so I don't want to use it as a reference.
One thing I should mention: I'm not really debating between M and L. Based on my inseam, saddle height, and previous test rides, I already feel that an M would likely be too small. My actual question is whether the L is the sweet spot or whether riders with proportions similar to mine ended up happier on an XL.
For riders around 190–193 cm with a long inseam:
- Which Endurace size did you choose?
- Did anyone compare L and XL back-to-back?
- Did the XL feel noticeably longer?
- Did the L feel too compact or too low in the front?
- How does the Endurace compare to a Roadmachine 58 in terms of fit and riding position?
I'm especially interested in feedback from riders with long legs relative to their height, since sizing advice often seems less straightforward for that body type.
Thanks!

It appears you are looking for bike fitting help. Please make sure you post as screenshot of the Canyon size chart for your bike, with your point in it. See [this example](https://imgur.com/a/ALUfXyy)

Following this. You have my measurements exactly. Canyon recommends an L, and rule of thumb says get the lower size and make it larger. But the geometry of an XL matches my current bike. I’m actually at the point of thinking either choice can work in the end.
Take the xl, had one with 199cm – that’s definitely too small
