I managed to bend the Crankbrothers cleat and the plate in my shoe. It started to feel wierd on one side when I noticed the cleat protruded further out of my shoe. I managed to hammer the plate back somewhat into shape with a stone to get home.
I think my shoes sole also cracked

You my good sir need a power meter. What wattage are you putting out?! That or these are nowhere near the level of QC as the Shimano ones.
