I continue my ride to Maputo, the capital city of Mozambique, in Africa.
First, I stop for a wonderful lunch in the suburbs of the city, then I resume my journey into Maputo, on the highway. Many people stop and cheer for me, but as I get stuck in a traffic jam right in one of the worst part of the city, the situation gets tricky. Somehow, I manage to escape unscathed, and I finally arrive at my beautiful AirBnB, right in the heart of Maputo, hosted by one of the most wonderful hosts I ever had.

  3. “Another great video. I really hope I get the chance to go back to Africa and visit Mozambique. I love the reaction of the people there.”

  4. Love your content and raw honesty but good grief, African cities like Maputo (at least the chaotic, dirty city centres) are not for me. I know they supposedly have a different type of vibrant energy, etc. but heck no, I'll bypass every large African city within the tropics whenever I can. The constant stress of having to look over my shoulder the whole time, the incessant begging (actually, demanding), the garbage-choked streets and sidewalks, the stench of rotting things and the constant traffic jams combine to be the personification of hell on earth for me. There is zero beauty or glamour in filth and decay no matter what anyone tells you and one does not have to be rich to live neatly. That 'burb where you stayed looks very nice though, it looks like the one I drove through in 2001 close the the Polana.

  5. This lady represents Mozambican culture… I've been living in Mozambique for a long time, and this is the kind of culture you find in the neighborhoods: caring, very open, and sociable people.

  6. We are travelling with you from Rwanda 🇷🇼. Happy to see Other Rwandan fan of you there in Maputo! Stay safe while making us travel 🌍 Africa

  7. Riding an illegal light vehicle in different countries that should have been impounded. I guess he is a classic fraud who quickly moves to ridicule police officers like the one he ridiculed in South Africa asking for a licence? The vehicle has throttle and goes as high as 70kmph but has no seat belt meaning if he hits a pothole at over 60kmph he could be flung from the vehicle or it can capsize hence there is no seatbelt. It also has a battery for propelling to boost power and an electric motor classifying this as an illegal vehicle that has no indicators and should not be on highways like in this video. Yet millions of people miss the point and danger this poses to him and other drivers.

  8. So many lovely things growing there. Just stop then ask where is a restaurant . What a lovely restaurant only at begining commenting as I see. Seriously amazing food love how u enjoying ha ha mmmm Seriously everyone has seen you on FB incredible this social media is faster than anything. But a bit dangerous surrounded by matatubstages and people all over begging. Just let the man get in to his room then talk another time
