Canyon seat post adapter – how to remove?

Hey everyone, I cracked my seat post because I’m special and probably shouldn’t have a CF bike. That being said, the new one shows up today and the last step is getting the adapter out of the seat post itself. I’ve been able to rotate it in place by keeping the saddle on and using my body weight to push the nose towards the frame. But I don’t see how it loosens or comes out. Can anyone clarify so I don’t make any mistakes here. The bikes is the Canyon Ultimate for reference.
