Not a comment aimed at you personally.
That looks stupid as shit, I just did a quick google of it. That is the kind of thing some young rep would bring into our shop selling it as some insanely cool feature worth upselling to customers.
Someone tried to reinvent the inner tube. Then just invented a second inner tube to go over your other inner tube.
Can we stop reinventing something that works? A properly set-up tubeless system works great, and doesn’t add 80$ to each wheel.
Run it if you want, or ditch it and don’t ever worry about it again.

  2. Fellow optis user. I had this same issue. I just started from scratch and installed the optis on the rim again keeping extra attention to make sure the little valve straw stays straight when installing the optis. I found letting the optis sit for a bit inflated at 20psi before installing it helped stretch it and made install a lot easier. I’ve done a bunch of riding on mine since I installed them. The optis air chart is a good starting place for fine tuning your pressures, but there is absolutely a noticeable difference with the optis installed. Have fun.
