If you don’t ask you don’t get, I’m cycling to one of the largest cycling companies in the UK to ask for sponsorship, the scariest cold call ever.

  1. Nicely done Ben – good people at Zyro Fisher btw…
This is a first class lesson for the under 30s who are struggling to find jobs – showing up in person works surprisingly well – putting a name to a face and leaving an impression…

  2. Love the hustle and your channel. This is a great message for the young generation. Old School ways make you stand out.. Personal communication and interaction.. I love it!

  3. Great video. Good things happen to good people , and isn’t it funny , the harder people try, the harder they work , the luckier they get 😉. Good things are coming I can feel it .
    Contact Zwift too !

  4. Riding on the path? Highway Act 1835 Section 72 😮☝️❌️

Get a few freebie Pinarello bikes like Amy has. She's got a blue one, a brown one, a pink one, a red one, two green ones.😮😮😮😮😮😵‍💫

  5. I was always told "A closed mouth never gets fed". I feel a lot of people come to these platforms expecting to get something, you didn't, you freakin' went for it. You rock!

  6. Nice work Ben. The irony is this "old school" method now makes you stand out even more, in a good way of course! Actually speaking to people face to face works, who'd have thought it! 🙃

  7. As someone who owns a brand, we look for someone who can actually sell our products. Just wearing it, talking about it, and taking pics and posting doesn't work. Thousands of consumers wear and post on social media. It's not so much of what a brand can do for you, it is what you can do for the brand. Sales matter. That is what sponsorship and branding are all about.

  8. I am 5’8 and I ride a 52cm Emonda (SL6 pro) 👌👌 …. My previous Emonda was a 50cm and arguably slightly more comfortable …. A 54cm would be WAY too big for me.

  9. Great plan Ben and frankly they would have been foolish to have turned you away, you’ve got exactly what it takes with your thought provoking and encouraging content and just the right sort of personality without being bland or brash. As others have said, a tremendous example to youngsters who are looking for work. Originality usually pays off. Simon

  10. Superb Ben, delighted tgat worked out, bet it was a quick trip back home. I’m in Barcelona for the first two stages, maybe see you cutting about. 💃🕺

  11. Hi Ben from Australia. Enjoy your videos, keep it up and good luck going forward.
I definitely agree re mixing kits, I do it all the time and think it's mad not to. Who cares about some silly rules. I also don't shave my legs 😂.
