35°C (95°F) today, but I still went out for a technical gravel ride.
The heat made it challenging, and some of the rocky sections demanded full concentration, but that’s part of what makes gravel so rewarding.
Not the easiest ride, but definitely worth it.
How hot is too hot for you to ride?
35°C, technical gravel and plenty of dust today

40°C is about my limit.
that’s not technical in my book.
I’ve gone out for my hottest ever ride at 32°C today and I can say that nothing about it was pleasant, especially as I was trying to at least stay close to my usual pace. Sub 30 is definitely preferable. Maybe it would be less unpleasant if was a really dry heat, and while it’s not humid it’s also not dry-dry here either, and I’m guessing that super low humidity introduces its own challenges.
That’s the life! Did something similar last week
14c where I was today. Never been as hot as 35c here, I think the record is 33c
No need to add the Celsius, it’s obvious for most civilised countries.
You gravel guys crack me up bro said “technical gravel” bro you guys really need to try mountain biking. I’ll see yall in the circle jerk for this one 😂
