Hi! I'm new to hydraulic breaks (and posting on reddit 😅 so sorry if this isn't the right "community" to post in) I wanted to know if this sound was normal while breaking or if I should bleed them? Clean rotors (although they look immaculate) The bike sat for several months before I got it (marketplace)… The actual breaking is great, asking about sound specifically. Ill take any info/advice. Thanks!

Where there’s friction there’s sound. They’re not screeching like a banshee so that’s good.

At low speeds under full pressure a stop should be pretty instantaneous however. I suppose on question I would ask:

Can you hold the brake and turn the wheel by hand at the same time?
