I am replacing a bad bottom bracket, and noticed this cable sleeve was sitting loose in the frame. The rear derailleur cable has been run in an identical sleeve, but the front cable is not. Should I rerun the cable to use this sleeve?
The front derailleur (R7000) on this bike has never felt quite right, sometimes it feels like a lot of force is required, and it can be difficult to reach trim positions.

Well, the FD cable should not be routed that way. It should be going through a cable guide underneath the BB. Whether the shifter cable is in a sleeve or not in the downtube is inconsequential to its performance, because it should be under tension all the time.
