Got my bike dialed in yesterday before packing it up for a tour. Will have rear panniers for sure, and maybe a small light pair on the front as well. 100% secondhand bike and equipment as I believe the world has enough bike gear to last us a long long time. Chain and tubes were new. Happy trails!

I believe that is a 1985 frame. In 1986 they switched to the U brake under the chainstays, woof.

nice. I have a 87 rockhopper but I’ve been having some issues with the fit and part of that is just cuz my body turning 44 pretty soon is not a supple but it’s been kind of a bummer because I’ve been trying to find a bike that’s comfortable for a year and it’s hasn’t been very successful .
